American-born and now Rotterdam-based, Rachel Griffin’s double vase reflects both her sense of whimsy and her experience as a graphic designer. Kink’s unusual shape is achieved with digital means to fashion the molded porcelain vessel before firing and a final glazing just on the inside for a refined contrast. Fill either or both of the openings with flowers or leave unfilled as a sculptural addition on a desk, table or sideboard.
